(a) 9 + (–6) = 3

= –250 + 300

Find the value of:

(b) 37 + (–2) + (–65) + (–8)
Answer 5:
(a) (–7) + (–9) + 4 + 16
= –7 – 9 + 4 + 16
= –16 + 20
= 4
(b) 37 + (–2) + (–65) + (–8)
= 37 – 2 – 65 – 8
= 37 – 75
= –38
