class 8 science: Discussed the  ncert science book class 8 related solve question for answering ncert science book class 8 Sound related questions. CBSE Board student get all types of solve paper here related to Science .

Question 1: How to sound is produced?
Answer: Sound is produced due to vibration of an object.

Question 2: How does sound from a sound producing body propagate through air to reach our ears?
Answer: By formation of compression and rarefaction sound can travel in air and reach to our ears

Class 8 Science :-
Question 3:   Why is a sound cannot be heard on the moon?
Answer: Sound need medium (solid, liquid, gas) to propagate. Since that is no air on moon, sound cannot travel in Moon.

Question 4:   If you want to hear a train approaching from far away, travellers put their ears on railway track to heard the sound of approaching train - why?
Answer: sound travel faster in solid medium (that is railway track) than gaseous medium (that is air). So the Travellers can easily hurt the sound on putting ears on railway track.

NCERT Class 8 Science :-
5:  How do astronauts talk to one another on the surface of moon and Why?
Answer:  since there is no air medium present on moon, as a result sound cannot travel in Moon and the astronomers can't heard Their Sound.
On moon, astronomers used radio waves to talk because radio waves do not need any material medium

Question 6  State one observation from everyday life which shows that sound travels much more slowly than light?
Answer: in thunderstorm, we see lightning first then thunder but they occur at the same time in the cloud. It proves that light travel faster than sound.

Question 7:  Why are the voices of men, Women and children different?
Answer: if we consider the size of vocal cord then we found that men has greatest vocal cord done women and the children has smallest vocal cord comparatively. So frequency of produce sound is list for men and maximum for children. therefore pitch of sound is greatest for children and least for men. As a result main has dipper sound done women and children has shrillest sound.

Class 8 Science Solve paper:-
Question 8:    Why do we not hear the screams of a bat?
Ans: since that produce sound of frequency more than 20000 Hertz that is ultrasonic sound, so we can not heard the sound.

Class 8 Solve Question :-
9: write the harmful effect of noise to human.
Answer:
Noise pollution can lead to a number of health-related problems. Some of them are as follows:
(i) Hearing loss  (ii) inability to sleep         (iii) Hypertension (iv) Severe headache (v) Stress

Question 10: Answer in one word: The number of vibrations made per second.
Answer: Frequency

Solve Question Class 8 :-
11: Which of the following frequency of sound can be heard by a dog but not by a man?                                                                     (a) 50,000 hertz (b)   15,000 hertz
Answer:  A sound of frequency 50,000 hertz can be heard by a dog but not by a man.

Question 12:   Sound of different pitch can be produced using a flute. Explain, how?
Answer: vibration of air column which is present in the flute, produce sound. Flute has some holes in different position. By tapping the holes we can change the length of your columns. As a result frequency of vibrating air column is also change and produce different sound.

NCERT Science Solve Paper :-
Question 13: Give two causes of noise pollution from the homes.
Answer:  to cause of air pollution cause at home are
(i) playing TV, DVD at higher volume
(ii) due to running mixer grinder.

Question 14:  How do we control noise pollution?
Answer: We can control noise pollution in various ways:
(i) playing TV, music player at lower volume.
(ii) factories should be established for away from locality.
(iii) we should minimise the use of horn in automobiles.
(iv) by using silencer in vehicles.
Planting of trees along roads and buildings also help to reduce noise pollution.

Class 8 Science :-
 15. How does Jal Tarang produces sound?
Answer: Jal Tarang is an instrument which consists of many cups. And these Cups contain different layer of water that is this cups have different length of air columns which produce different frequencies of sound.

Sound Solve Problem:-
Question 16:  State true or false
(i) Sound can be produced by beating an object irrespective of whether there are vibrations or not.
Answer: false.
(ii)The sound of a tabla normally has a lower pitch than the sound of a violin.
Answer: true.
(ii)A short flute will produce sound of lower pitch than a long flute.
Answer: true.

NCERT Class 8 :
Question 17.  Give reasons Why Trees planted along the roads reduce noise?
Answer: Trees are planted along the roads and around buildings so that it could cut off sound vibrations produced from vehicles speakers etc. by absorbing them, hence leading in prevention of Noise pollution.

Class 8 Sound Solve Paper :-
